Missions

First Baptist-Salisbury has a very active missions program.

We participate regularly with the Baptist Men program, and the ladies are heavily involved in Women on Mission. In addition, there are many mission projects enacted by different groups within the church.

Local, regional and worldwide examples include: assisting Rowan Helping Ministries with meals and fundraisers, backpack distributions for back-to-school, action against human trafficking, Operation Inasmuch (local projects for our neighbors), clothing donations to prisons in West Virginia, helping to rebuild in New Jersey after Hurricane Sandy, distribution of Hope Boxes to students in Harlan County, Kentucky, mission trips to Haiti, Guyana and Honduras, Operation Christmas Child, and many more.

Baptist Men

Baptist Men is a men's ministry and missions organization. We come together for good food and fellowship, informative and inspiring programs, testimony, worship, mission and ministry opportunities, spiritual challenge, building relationships, and supporting each other through prayer.

Women on Mission

Women on Mission is ongoing missions involvement and learning that extends across the globe. Ladies have the opportunity to participate in missions and ministries that enable them to experience a variety of ways to serve Christ. Ultimately, the purpose of all Women on Mission activities is that every person have the opportunity to hear and respond to the gospel.
